Robert Carberry, Designer

Rob is a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology with a professional degree in Architecture. Rob started his professional career as an intern at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, while still in college. At SOM he worked initially in the electrical engineering department, moving later to the architectural design studios.

During his years at SOM he worked on many national and international projects in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. He later worked in the engineering departments in national corporations and small residential architectural and design firms.

Although he is an independent Designer, we have been fortunate enough to adopt him as our own, and he has been doing are design work for many years. He can take your ideas and desires from inception to completion, all within the framework established.

Styles from traditional to cutting edge and all those in between act as our guide to successfully complete your project. If you checkout the Credits page on this site you will notice that most of the design credits are his.

Jeff Smith, Owner

Jeff started his career as a cabinetmaker / furniture-maker in a custom cabinetry shop in Toronto owned by his father, and then went on to open his own Chicago custom cabinetry shop in the mid 1980s.

With the founding of Rollin Contracting in 1995, he was able to fuse his creative skills and interests in Craftsmanship, Design, Art, and Architecture into a much broader arena with a business philosophy that takes a long-term view and embodies his commitment to excellence.

First and foremost, general contracting requires clear and continuous communication while trading Value-for-Value, and is the best way to maintain successful business relationships ...of course, it also helps that Jeff is dedicated to Quality, Service and Being the Best!
